Cake World Messe Hamburg

I have returned from a wonderful time in Hamburg after exhibiting at the Cake World Messe.  The show was so much fun, and I met many fabulous people.  The people of Hamburg were very welcoming and the food, wine and hospitality was outstanding.

Pretty Tulips in bottles, simple but stunning!

Cute little cake pops from Cake Pop Hamburg.

My daughter loves these cake pops more, however I am still team Cookie Monster…

Something delicious to bake in a bottle. Not sure what it is but I want to bake it now!

Reminds me of the sand bottles we used to fill as children with different coloured sand.  These ones are much more functional!

Out to dinner at a German Beer Hall.  This was so much fun! So many people singing and portions that were so large they could have fed a whole family!  The food in hamburg was amazing.  Standouts include Hotel Atlantis the Lobster Bisque that apparently is one of Rod Stewarts favourite, or so the waiter told us numerous times… The food in my hotel at Ausspann Hotel was very good, had a spectacular steak with Sue Pinnick from Yummy Cakes By Sue.  It was great end to a fantastic weekend.

David Cakes has certainly created a masterpiece.

Peggy Tucker was demonstrating Marvelous Molds.  They certainly are marvelous and very innovative.

The Blossom Sugar Art stand before the show opened.

Jannich from KD Torten.  I love his shirt, it matches very well with my cake.

Tasty Me had a beautiful stand. Loved the pink lights.

The friendly team at Fun Cakes.

Sue Pinnick and I just before the crowds appeared.

Pernille Jensen from Specialkøbmanden Viborg, Denmark. Lovely to meet you and wish you a wonderful year ahead in your new shop.

The very talented Petra Herz who contributes to the magazine I am happily holding.

We were opposite the lovely team from Pavoni.  I have a Pavoni cupcake stand in teal, very fashionable. Next time I will pick one up in white, black and pink!
